The Jeremy Kyle Show broke out into chaos today as the show host nearly broke his wrist on this morning’s show when he was running after one of his guests when he slipped and fell to the floor. [Scroll to bottom for video]
35 year old John was on the show with his fiancé Kelly, and John had been convinced that his fiancé was cheating on him, and that none of their three children are his, and also that if this was the case, their wedding would be cancelled.
While Kelly admitted that she had cheated on John, she was adamant that all of the children were his. And of course, it fell on Jeremy’s DNA test to find an answer to the question.
When it came to revealing the truth of the matter, Kelly jumped out of her chair and grabbed the envelope from Jeremy before running backstage. Smacks of guilt to me, that.
A shocked Jezza then said: “Sorry, those are my envelopes and this is my show!” as he tends to remind people every chance he gets.
He then ran backstage in hot pursuit to get the envelopes back.
But what Jeremy had made clear throughout the show was that he was feeling under the weather, as he referenced his sore throat time and time again. And as such, he clearly did not have the energy to give chase for long and attempted to jump on security guard Dan’s back.
“Sorry, Dan, I’m jumping on your back! Take me!” Jeremy said.
But Dan clearly wasn’t prepared for what Jeremy was about to do, and as he came up behind ready to jump on his back, he fell off and ended up tumbling to the floor.
“I’ve just broken my wrist! I’ve just fallen off Dan’s back! I’ve just broken my wrist – but it doesn’t matter. I’ve got no voice and a broken wrist!”
After the chaos had calmed down, and Jeremy composed himself, the DNA results were revealed, and as it turns out, John was in fact the biological father of all three of Kelly’s children, which makes her envelope snatching antics all the more curious.
The couple kissed and made up and all was right with the world as they decided to continue with the wedding.
This, of course, isn’t the first time that everything has gone to hell in a hand basket on the Jeremy Kyle show, as various guests throughout the years have invariably kicked off and caused chaos on the show.
Only late last year (it still feels weird saying it like that), a ruckus was caused when a guest named Rollins had to defend himself against allegations that he had stolen the charity money that was collected at his friend’s son’s funeral.
His friend, Jackie, told of how Rollins was entrusted with looking after the charity bucket after volunteering to take it around, but she became suspicious when he started acting shifty and disappearing.
Throughout the segment, Rollins passionately denied any wrong-doing and said that his friend was lying.
And later, when Jeremy revealed that Rollins was in fact telling the truth about the charity money, that’s when it all kicked off, as the guest was vindicated in staunchly protesting his innocence.
As he jumped out of his seat in sheer joy, Rollins then proceeded to kick things up another couple of notches as he jumped up and down before falling to the ground and sleeping the floor energetically.
Then, after slapping his hands on the wall, Rollins then stormed off backstage to celebrate backstage.
Rollins however, got a little carried away…shall we say…and slammed into the wall, which forced the security guards of the Jeremy Kyle Show to intervene and try to calm the guest down.
However, after he composed himself, he realised what he was doing and calmed himself down and politely shook Jeremy’s hand and thanked him.
Viewers watching at home were quick to comment on the drama, with one Jeremy Kyle viewer writing: “Stealing a charity bucket, sounds like a story line from shameless #JeremyKyle.”
While another tweeted: “If you were at your son’s funeral were you watching the collection box all the time to see how much money was in it? #jeremykyle.”
And of course, there are others. But chief among them, how can we ever forget, was the guest that famously threw the envelope in Jeremy’s direction, which visibly left the presenter shaken as the guest threatened to “knock him out”.
Fortunately for Jeremy, his muscle was there and had his back and calmed the situation down before it had a chance to get more heated.
And who could forget how Jeremy’s hair was shaped after the envelope connected with the back of his head?
And then there was the time that he had a guest that punched a hole in the wall…goodness me.
The guest – whose name was Ashley – became enraged as he sat backstage listening to his fiancé Colette and Jeremy discussing how he had cheated on her no less than six times in two years.
Suddenly, however, a massive thud could be heard, followed by a boat load of expletives, as he hit the wall.
Jeremy rushed backstage alongside his security and tried to talk to Ashley and see what was going on.
Unfortunately, this seemed to anger the guest even more and he shouted at Jeremy: “I’ll bang you.
“Shut up midget man.”
All this before he had even got to the stage!
Ashley, clearly enraged, then tried to leave the building while Jeremy and Colette followed him around and stopped him from doing so.
Finally, they managed to get the angry young man back to the backstage area, but he refused to come out on stage.
Ashley shouted at Jeremy: “Don’t violate me. Shut up man, I’ll punch you.”
And only earlier this year, the burly security guards were once again needed as an angry guest – John – stormed the stage to confront his stepmom who he thought had been cheating on his father.
In the end, the guest had to literally be put in a headlock by the security guard as he tried to storm the stage.
Love it or hate it, you could argue that Jeremy Kyle Show is daytime TV at its trashy best!
