So, it’s almost time for I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here to begin and fans are speculating who will be making their way into the jungle in the new series.
Whilst only two celebrities have been confirmed for the 2017 line-up, there have been loads of rumours as to who else will be making their way down-under at the end of November.
Here are just a few stars who seem to be on the hot-list for the next series:
Rebekah Vardy is married to England footballer Jamie Vardy, but the WAG who has confessed to having botox and a boob-job, hasn’t had an easy time of it with the press. Slammed for having three children by three different fathers when she married Jamie two years ago, Rebekah got pregnant with her fourth child just six months into the relationship.
She once told the Daily Mail: ‘People say loads of nasty stuff about me but I don’t care about any of it. It doesn’t bother me at all.’ Looks like Rebekah will cause a few fireworks in the camp if she’s one of the lucky ones to be a part of the show.
Craig Charles entered the jungle back in 2014, but was forced to leave within a few days after the sudden death of his brother. The 53-year-old has been rumoured to have been given a second chance to join the show.
In an interview with Radiotimes.com, the actor said: “I’ve just been asked if I’ll go back in the Jungle again. Because that was cut short…and never say never, you know?”
TOWIE star Danielle Armstrong has also been tipped for entering the jungle this year. The blonde bombshell was a part of the cast for three years, but decided to call it a day in 2016 so she didn’t have to see her ex, James Lock. However, just to make thing extra awkward, The Sun Online revealed that he may also be appearing in the series, so this could be entertaining. Let’s get the popcorn!
Jonny is a newbie to reality TV after appearing on this year’s Love Island, but the hunk seems to have got a taste for his new-found fame and is expected to be joining the line-up. A source said: “Bosses said he would be the perfect hunk for the show and have asked him to come for a meeting.” – We think he’d be a great bit of eye-candy too!
Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthew is also another hopeful choice for the show. After appearing in the series of I’m A Celeb in 2015, he was forced to quit after a few days after confessing to taking Class C drugs, to help him perform well in a charity boxing match.
The star seemed devastated when he was told he had to leave with immediate effect and has claimed he would love to have another stint in the jungle if he had the chance.
You may or may not remember, but Katie Hopkins has already been in the jungle, way back in 2007. She made her name after appearing in BBC’s The Apprentice, however, is now mostly associated wih her controversial opinions. She’s a villain we all just love-to-hate. So, could Katie could be re-entering to cause a stir amongst her campmates? We shall just have to wait and see!
Rumour has it that that X Factor star Honey G could also be joining this years line-up in Austrailia. She divided the nation when she appeared on the singing contest last year after performing her infamous raps each week, but producers seem keen on securing her for the series.
Celebrity gardener and presenter Alan Titchmarsh could become the next fatherly figure to make his way into the jungle. Over the years, we’ve had many lovely older guys who’ve reached the near end of the show, so who knows, maybe Alan will become the next firm-favourite with viewers if he were to join the line-up.
Gemma Collins is also another ex-campmate who left the jungle early on a previous series. After lasting just three days in the camp back in 2014, she decided she couldn’t cope with the situation, so packed her bags and left.
The reality star gained headlines a few weeks back after falling off stage at the Radio 1 Teen Awards in front of a packed arena.
A source exclusively told The Sun Online: “Gemma has been backed by Dec, he thought she was really good [last time she was on] and he told Gemma she would be great if she came back to the show.
“She’s riding on the crest of a wave right now – she’s doing well on Towie, she massive on social media after all the memes and and everyone is a bit obsessed with her.
“She in talks to sign up but it’s early days. Nothing is set in stone yet.”
Ex- Corrie star Ryan Thomas is another tipped contestant for this year’s show. After his brother and Emmerdale actor Adam came on out on top in last years series, bosses have become interested in signing up Ryan too.
A source revealed to The Sun Online: “Ryan would be superb in the jungle and there has never been a family member following a family member into the outback ever in all the series.”
After his successful appearance on Celebrity Big Brother, ITV bosses are keen on securing Calum Best for this year’s I’m A Celeb. As Calum is a veteran when it comes to reality TV, he definitely wouldn’t seem out of place if he were to become a campmate.
Now that Sandra Martin is no longer part of the Gogglebox squad, fans are wondering where she’s been over the past year. Rumours of her joining the Celebrity Big Brother house earlier this year didn’t appear true, as her best mate Sandi Bogle became a housemate instead.
So, will we perhaps be seeing Sandra in the jungle?
She once told The Mail on Sunday: “I am going to earn big money this year. I got a contract with a big TV show I am not allowed to talk about. When I was on Gogglebox, I could only work for them. But everyone wants me now that I have left.”
TOWIE and Ex On the Beach star Megan McKenna is another rumoured campmate. Making her name in reality TV, McKenna has recently made a documentary focusing on her ambitions to become a world-famous country singer. So, maybe I’m A Celeb would give her that extra stepping stone she has been looking for.
