As part of the Saturday night line up, the 39 year old former glamour model invited the cameras into her Sussex mansion as part of Keith Lemon’s Through the Keyhole.
And as we all probably know by now, there is probably nothing more that Katie Price loves than to present a perfect and pristine image.
But I think it’s probably fair to say that the words “perfect” and “pristine” cannot be afforded in the same way to her Sussex mansion, the up keep of which seemingly being lower down on Katie Price’s list of priorities.
And as part of Through the Keyhole, millions of viewers at home got to see how not bothered Katie Price is about keeping up appearances when it comes to her home.
As you can imagine, people watching were less than impressed with the state of her stately home.
Although the grade-II listed building was certainly a sight to behold from outside, thanks to special grounds and wonderful architecture, it was a different story altogether once that threshold had been crossed.
More specifically, eagle eyed viewers noticed mounds of dirty washing in the bedroom, and a chaotic walk in wardrobe with clothes everywhere and overflowing from all angles.
They also noticed a discarded plastic bottle and mounds of clutter.
As host Keith Lemon walked outside, fans even spotted horse poo in the driveway and saw that her swimming pool was afflicted with mildew.
The tennis court also appeared to be worn-down and overgrown.
Naturally, fans were quick to point out their observations on Twitter.
One wrote: “Your house is a tip,” while another simply quipped: “Katie Price’s house is minging!”.
A third added: “Wow Katie Price lives like a pig! Jeez women clean up your house! Literally you live in a sh**hole!”.
Despite the online backlash to the manner in which she lives, Katie was as defiant as you would expect.
Appearing on the show, she went about justifying the state of her home by claiming that it was due for renovation shortly after the TV crew had arrived on the property for the filming.
She also claimed that despite this, they refused to delay filming.
“I said to them to give me two more weeks as we are having it renovated…
“It will look completely different, but you guys didn’t want to wait… So now we can redo it [the show].”
“I didn’t even clear up, I just said let em film it out here. You get used to it [the horse poo] – it’s a farm – it’s smelly.”
Katie Price has been in the news recently for matters a little less trivial (and that’s putting it mildly) as she appeared on the ITV political show Preston on Sunday to discuss online bullying and it’s affects, as well as her efforts to change the law around online bullying.
However, before the former glamour model and mum of five even had a chance to open her mouth and explain her cause, she was, ironically, being roasted like a barbeque at a Super Bowl party about her appearance.
Regular viewers of Preston on Sunday were not impressed with his guest, and they just had to let everyone know how they felt about it online, as many fans took to Twitter to pretty much prove Price’s point without her even having to open her mouth.
One person tweeted: “I thought ‘Preston on Sunday’s was a serious political program.
“I just tuned in to find @UKLabour’s biggest liar and comic from the Lords Chakrabati and the UK’s worst ‘slack Alice’ Katie Price. I’ve switched off.”
Another commented: “Just turned over from #marr to @pestononsunday but I’m turning it off cant stand Katie Price #Peston.”
Meanwhile, other viewers took to Twitter and questioned why Peter Andre’s ex wife was seemingly not ready to be on camera.
“Katie price on #peston talking about politics!! Seriously!!! did she still have her rollers in??”
Not everyone was disappointed though, as some fans backed Katie.
“Turned on @pestononsunday to see @KatiePrice getting her hair did and ready to go on. It’s the ultimate Sunday morning combo I never knew I wanted.”
Another defended Katie writing: “Great interview @KatiePrice on @pestononsunday @ITV about your online abuse campaign, amazing to see you using your public platform to highlight this issue and help make a difference. Without your petition we may not have been talking about it so openly and publicly.”
Katie, who is married to, but had her ups and downs with, Kieren Hayler, has made it her passion to see that online bullying is made a criminal offense, having been inspired by the trolls that target her disabled son Harvey on social media.
On Loose Women on 24 January 2018 Katie announced that her petition to make online bullying a criminal offence will be discussed in the House of Commons.
The MPs launched an inquiry into online abuse after a petition Price launched “brought to Parliament an issue that has not been widely discussed”.
Price told ITV’s Peston on Sunday: “Harvey was getting racial abuse, they were mocking him, doing sex videos on him, putting him in t-shirts, and he’s got complex special needs – I’ve got five children but they always pick on him.
“I got two people arrested, (the police) seized all their computers, they seized everything, took them quite far, but then it got to the point where they can’t charge them with nothing because there’s nothing in place for it.”
Price has said that she wants to introduce legislation known as Harvey’s Law and was very critical over a lack of social media security to ensure that people do not have to suffer such unmonitored online abuse.
Labour MP Ms Creasy said: “What happened to Katie’s son is horrific and completely unacceptable.
“My frustration as somebody who has always experienced this is all too often it seems an issue about malicious communications, actually there is legislation around harassment.
“The police and the CPS need to be much better at using the harassment legislation and put the victim at the centre of it.”
After her petition earned 220,000 signatures last year Katie explained: “On the 6th February, me, my mum and Harvey are now going to the Parliament Select Committee to now discuss it, and hopefully, Pricey here can change the law!”
