A little bit of controversy has surrounded James Corden lately and an interesting piece of footage has come out of the woodwork this week.
It surrounds a clip of Lily Allen interviewing James Cordon on her show Lily Allen and Friends which used to be on BBC Three.
She has accused him of “coming onto her” during the 2008 interview.
She also said she would have been accused of being called “cold” or “up myself” if she had ‘shut down’ The Late Show presenter.
Corden was starring in Gavin and Stacey at the time and they can be seen engaging in a flirty display.
Lily was told by James how “lovely” she was and then pointed to the audience telling her “to ignore all those people right there”
Lily responded jokingly by telling him to “just f**k her”.
The audience cheered at this response and Lily said: “Thank you very much… that is how you get into a girl’s pants. Well done, James.”
Lily then asked if James, who now hosts the massive ‘Late Late Show’ in america if he was single.
No, I️ wasn’t horny for James cordon either, he came on to me in front of a studio audience, if I’d have shut him down, I️ would have been labeled cold or up myself or snobbish. https://t.co/oWVrtwrLOE

Taking to Twitter though she said she didn’t want to be labelled as “cold” so she just went with it. She also said she had no interest in the star.
A fan tweeted a link to the clip, adding that she was “horny” for James.

It’s a controversial subject at the moment as there’s been many claims from celebrities around sexual harassment and misconduct in the acting world. A lot of the alleged victims have claimed they felt forced into situations as that was the way it was and they were too scared to speak out.
Recently James Corden was hosting a charity event and made a joke about Harvey Weinstein which didn’t go down well at all.
Harvey Weinstein the famous movie producer was fired from his position at his own company due to the extensive allegations against him for sexual harassment and misconduct. Many women and men within the industry have released statements condemning Weinstein since the allegations have come to light.
This didn’t seem to stop Corden making a joke about the situation though at the amFAR gala on October 14th. He began by saying: “It’s been weird this week watching Harvey Weinstein in hot water. Ask any of the women who watched him take a bath, it’s weird.”
That first joke was met with loud groans which he responded to with: “I don’t know if whether that groan was because you liked that joke or don’t like that joke. If you don’t like that joke, you should probably leave now.”
Here’s the joke live:
I've always made it my mission to tell every American I meet that we hate James Corden in the UK. Now they know why. pic.twitter.com/nXl3mGVYl5

Social media were not happy about the jokes though and people were aware of the fact that Corden and Weinstein are known to each other and others commented on the fact it’s not good to be making light of sexual harassment claims.
